There are over 2,400 Listed Companies in Hong Kong, all facing different challenges such as queries from short sellers and regulators. If a company cannot react in a timely way, it may lead to delisting or even liquidation as a consequence. Mr. Barry Tong, President of Association of Certified Fraud Examiners Hong Kong Chapter, who is also our Global MBA alumnus, shared his experiences and some case studies on the short seller allegations, together with hints on skills needed to deal with the auditors or regulators to prevent suspension of trading.
