This month, Manchester University fielded no fewer than 3 teams of four persons per team in the Salvation Army’s Orienteering challenge 2018 to raise money for SEN children. The teams included both alumni and current students. All our competitors enjoyed the 2-hour challenge, which included some light-hearted fun moments, but had the satisfaction of knowing that- aligned with the University’s stated objective of producing social responsible leaders - they had contributed to the welfare of those less fortunate than themselves.
