| 12th July – MBS Business Summit 2012 (Video is also available here. ) | ||
| To celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Manchester Business School (MBS) in East Asia, MBS Business Summit 2012 was successfully held at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 12th July 2012 jointly organized by MBS Alumni Association and MBS East Asia Centre. In the theme of ‘World Economic Outlook: What's Next?’, the summit attracted more than 120 senior executives to attend, where 8 distinguished guest speakers who are all esteemed leaders, academics and professionals from best-practice organisations were invited to share their unique insights and suggestions on various hot topics of the current and medium term outlook for the world economy, risks and potential opportunities for investors and the trend of emerging Asian economies. The panel discussion was chaired by one of our prominent alumni who is an expert in financial media. It was also our honour to have The Wall Street Journal to be our media partner and reputable organisations and some prominent alumni as our major sponsors. Additional support was generously provided by some 20 professional institutions. | ||
